In order to achieve wealth beyond reason, you first need to define what being wealthy means to you. Most people will say that they would love one million dollars, but would that be enough for you to live the life of your dreams? I doubt that giving Victoria Beckham or Tom Cruise, one million dollars would have any impact on their lifestyles. If you gave it to a homeless man it certainly would have an effect.
Wealth is a relative term. The reason why most people do not achieve their dreams, is that they don’t quantify what their personal goals are. They chase the trappings of wealth that the media suggest that they should have. Maybe you would love the latest Ferrari. Some people, myself included, wouldn’t buy one even if they had sufficient cash. Until you decide what your personal ideal lifestyle would be, you will never achieve it.
In order to have sufficient money in your life you first need to decide how much you need. What are you looking to achieve? Do you want to leave work? What type of house do you want to live in? Where do you want to live? All these questions need to be answered before you know how much cash you need. What would make you happy?
Try sitting down and writing out what your ideal day would look like. What would you do? Not everyone wants to give up working and sit at home all day long.
You need to believe that you can and deserve to become wealthy. If you believe that money is evil or that you are not pretty/intelligent/gifted enough to have wealth beyond reason; then it is not going to happen. We have all read the stories of people who won large sums of money on the lottery, but within a couple of years, were financially worse off than before their win.
If you have negative associations with money you need to reprogram your mind. Money is not the root of all evil. Having wealth doesn’t make you a bad person. It is what you do with your cash that determines the type of person you are.
You are in a better position to help those less fortunate than yourself; if you have the funds to do so. Although don’t put off helping people and donating to charity, until you have money, as that will hamper your progression towards wealth.
You need to decide what you want. You need to be prepared to put in the effort to get it and you need to get on with it. I am not suggesting that you need to become a workaholic. But sitting back talking about all that is currently wrong in your life will not achieve financial freedom.
Being grateful for what you currently have, taking positive action and showing generosity to others will help you achieve your goals and have wealth beyond reason.
