I Failed At Affiliate Marketing

Email Solo Advertising Advice

For many years I failed at Affiliate marketing. Truthfully, there was a time that I failed at every business idea I tried. Not at anytime did I ever feel like a failure. I might be a bit delusional but I always believe that success was right around the next corner. I was wrong, success was inside of me and all I needed to do was bring it out. I needed to give it life and a purpose. Most people do not have enough drive to keep on going when things are bad. I just saw a motivation speech, where he speaker said, “you do not give up when things are hard because if you give up, you will not have anything to show for your pain.” He is right.

Not everyone will have the conditions that I had that forced me into success. After 3 years of struggling with affiliate marketing and not giving it my best effort, I was diagnosed with lupus. I would have to take prescription medicine that costs around $600 per month without insurance. I was broke, unemployed and there was no way I could afford the medicine that would keep me alive and make me feel better.

This is when I started developing my internal engine. I had spent 3 years learning and failing at affiliate marketing but now I had to make it work. I had to make it work because I wanted to live. My problem prior to this is that I didn’t work hard enough. Now, I decided to give it my all. I put everything that I read to use and worked 12 hours a day to make affiliate marketing work for me. It was in this period that I saw this work as character building.

It took me 60 days to receive my first check and it was for more money than a job had ever given me. It was a $7000 check that I had earned in affiliate commission. This was a months worth of work. This first check gave me the proof that I needed to see to make this my full time job.

It was out of necessity that I poured everything I had into making affiliate marketing work. You are probably just like me, you don’t need any more tools or ideas, you just need to put what you know into massive action.

It is with this massive action that you will find success and even purpose. Once you discipline yourself, you will start to jump out of bed excited to start the next day. The money will be and afterthought and something that just symbolizes your hard and dedication to yourself.

In essence, stop looking for more information, stop studying and researching affiliate marketing. Instead put everything that you know into action. No one ever made money studying something, you have to do the work. You have to settle down and do what is necessary to make affiliate marketing work for you.
